The RS-101x jean features a relaxed fit paired with a lightweight rinsed indigo Japanese selvedge denim and American construction. The RS (Relaxed Straight) cut is generous and comfortable, featuring a higher rise, plenty of room on the thigh and a wider leg opening. It's the widest cut in our lineup but is by no means a baggy fit. We designed it to be a classic relaxed straight cut jean that is sure to maintain relevance in your wardrobe for years to come.
The 101x flagship denim utilized on this jean is custom woven exclusively for 3sixteen by Kuroki Mills in Okayama, Japan. The 12oz fabric is the lightest in our lineup and we developed it to be a great entry point for customers who are new to raw denim. We've given the entire jean a light rinse and tumble dry to really accentuate the broken-in feel of the jean. Longtime customers of the brand who have worn in our heavier offerings have been excited to add this fabric to their lineup as it's so easy and comfortable to wear from day one.
