For our 20th anniversary, we have produced a special edition jean featuring denim woven by a small mill in Hiroshima, Japan. This 15.4oz denim utilizes organic cotton from Turkey, which is spun in a special process to create an unevenly twisted yarn. The yarn is then rope dyed twice the average amount in a natural indigo dye bath sourced from India, to create a unique blue shade with heavily saturated areas and lighter areas where the weft pokes through. This denim is sure to fade beautifully and will become a garment that is treasured for a long time.
Our best-selling Classic Tapered cut features a high rise with a straight back yoke and a tapered leg from the thigh down. The 102xn Natural Indigo denim is raw and sanforized so shrinkage is minimal. Jeans should measure about 1" above tagged size in the waist. When new, the jeans should be snug in the waist without being painfully tight. They will stretch out comfortably within the first few wears. Trims include gunmetal YKK punch-through rivets and shanks, and a special 20 year anniversary vegetable-tanned leather patch. Made in USA.
