The Lug Chelsea Boot is an essential silhouette that we're happy to have in our growing footwear lineup. We've always loved the comfort and functionality of pull-on boots but wanted to design something with a bit more weight and substance on foot. These Lug Chelsea Boots feature a structured round toe that wears really nicely with some stacked jeans or cropped work pants. The sole of this boot is what makes the silhouette special, in our opinion; it's constructed of a tonal wedge midsole paired with a Vibram commando outsole for a more imposing silhouette than your typical Chelsea.
The boots are manufactured exclusively for us in Portugal using a beautiful split calf suede from Holland that's chrome tanned and double dyed through for color depth and longevity. The suede has a beautiful hand that will break in beautifully as it's worn. The boots feature Goodyear welt construction which allow for long term wear and resoling for decades to come.
SIZING: We recommend taking a half size down from your typical sneaker size. On the Brannock, we recommend half size down from your measurement unless your feet are wide; in that case, you should take your true Brannock size. The correct size should provide enough room through the forefoot while still slightly gripping the heel. The boot should be comfortable at first wear; we do not recommend sizing down with the hope that they will break in and loosen.
